Air ambulance lands on Ryde beach
The life-saving Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance has landed on Ryde Beach this afternoon (Wednesday). Mid display of the performance of the Red Arrows aerobatic display over Portsmouth just after 4.25pm the area was cleared with the lifesaving helicopter coming into land on the sand. The crew have been called to deal with a medical emergency to the toilets near to Ryde Pier. Two police cars and an ambulance have been called to the incident were one person is understood to have been arrested.
