A crime scene remains in place after the London Ambulance service called police at 6.22 am on Monday, 20 February to Whitchurch Lane, Edgware, following reports of two people injured.
Armed police were among those responding.
Two men were found with suspected gunshot injuries. Both were taken to the hospital, where their conditions were assessed as not life-threatening.
Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing. Early indications suggest the men may have been victims of a robbery.
There have been no arrests at this time. Police are pursuing a number of lines of inquiry.
