BBC Two and iPlayer are set to bring the popular podcast Uncanny to the screen in a brand new series. Inspired by the BBC Sounds podcast of the same name, Uncanny delves into real-life stories of seemingly supernatural encounters, challenging viewers to question whether these experiences defy logical explanation or if there is another side to them.

Hosted by Danny Robins, the series will feature three episodes, with each episode investigating a new case and attempting to help those involved understand the events they experienced. Robins, known for his work on podcasts such as The Battersea Poltergeist and The Witch Farm, as well as his award-winning play 2:22 – A Ghost Story, will bring his expertise and storytelling skills to uncover the truth behind these mysterious encounters.
