Emergency Incident Recap Flight EAG47S, operating a route from Birmingham to Belfast, was forced to turn back shortly after its departure at 15:52 local time due to the discovery of the suspicious device. The aircraft involved, an 8-year-old ATR 72 registered as G-CMJJ, landed safely back at Birmingham at approximately 16:25. Originally serving with TransNusa and later with Nordic Aviation Capital, the aircraft had been in service with Emerald Airlines under Aer Lingus Regional since May 2022.
