Shooting Victim Identified

Detectives investigating a shooting in england/clapham/”>Clapham have named the victim as Kyrone Moodie, a 27-year-old man who was fatally shot on wales/new-park/”>park/”>New Park Road on Monday, 8 September.

Family Tribute

In a heartfelt statement, Kyrone’s family described him as a “loving family man” who was “genuine and determined.” They added, “He helped everyone he could. Kyrone was just a humble, funny and God-worshiping family-oriented man.”

Incident Details

Police were called at 20:50hrs to reports of a shooting on New Park Road. Officers, along with the London Ambulance Service, arrived to treat Kyrone and a 20-year-old man who sustained gunshot wounds. Both were taken to hospital, but despite the best efforts of medical staff, Kyrone sadly died in the early hours of Tuesday, 9 September.

As the investigation continues, detectives are urging anyone who was in the New Park Road area on the evening of 8 September to provide any doorbell or camera footage. The second victim has since been discharged from hospital.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Metropolitan Police via 101, quoting CAD 7805/08Sep25, or to reach out to the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.
