A drink driver was arrested just after 3am Thursday morning in Warsash after a vehicle left the road and crashed through a garden wall leaving a passenger trapped.
A female had to be cut free by the fire crews from Hampshire fire and rescue service.
Thankfully the passenger was not seriously injured.
The driver remains in custody after providing a sample double the legal drink drive limit.
