Fire crews called to property fire in Paulsgrove

Fire crews from Cosham and Portchester have been called to a property fire on the Paulsgrove Estate in Portsmouth. Crews were mobilised to the scene just after midnight on Wednesday morning. Three fire crews dealing with a Severe fire on ground floor of Property in Allaway Ave,Paulsgrove. Crews have been committed into the property In breathing apparatus with hose reels and jets. it is understood that crews are also using tactical ventilation: This involves opening ventilation paths with the intent to make the fire behave or travel in a certain direction. The living is well alight and been seriously damaged by fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation No-one was hurt. Police and fire investigators are due on scene this am. More to follow
