Halesowen’s Neighbourhood Policing Team joined forces with Traffic Officers today (April 28) to carry out an ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) operation on Manor Way and Long Lane.
The operation aimed to target unsafe and illegal driving practices and saw 15 vehicles reported for a range of offences, including failure to wear seatbelts, illegal window tints, dangerous vehicle conditions, and driving without road tax.

Officers praised the joint effort, which forms part of ongoing work to make local roads safer for all users.
A spokesperson for Halesowen Police said: “This was a successful operation highlighting the importance of partnership work in tackling road safety issues. Our teams remain committed to ensuring those using our roads do so legally and responsibly.”
Further operations are planned as part of the area’s ongoing efforts to crack down on unsafe driving and keep the community safe.
