Investigators are issuing an appeal after a teenager was robbed in Gravesend – UKNIP

 

At around 4.30pm on Thursday 4 March 2021, a 15-year-old boy was walking in St Aidan’s Way when he was approached by a group of 10 teenagers.

 

It is reported one of the teenagers demanded that the victim hand over his mobile phone and, when he refused, the boy was assaulted.

 

The suspects are alleged to have then stolen the phone before leaving the scene.

 

A 15-year-old local boy was later arrested on suspicion of robbery and then released pending further investigation.

 

Investigating officer, PC Amit Dadwal said: ‘Our officers are continuing to carry out enquiries in the area including the review of any potential CCTV footage, and we would like to hear from anybody with information that may assist the investigation.’
