The Just Stop Oil website has been hit by a ‘cyber attack’ that knocked the website offline. The site has been down since about 4am on Thursday after a possible cyber attack. The cause of the problem is considered to be a major outage as the group of eco-warriors share their updates to their following. The website is believed to have been subject to a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack, which seeks to disrupt a site by flooding it with web traffic in a bid to try and knock it offline.
