In a significant operation aimed at enhancing road safety, Essex Police’s Road Crime Team conducted a targeted effort between Southend and Chelmsford on Saturday, 25 November, resulting in seven arrests and the seizure of 12 vehicles.

The operation was focused on identifying and apprehending individuals who pose a threat to public safety on the roads. Adam Pipe, Head of Roads Policing, emphasized the department’s commitment to maintaining safety and tackling criminals exploiting the road network for illegal activities.
