Major turnout to Two vehicle collision near Ryde

Emergency Services have been called to a Collison near Smallbrook near Ryde this afternoon. Fire Crews from Ryde and Newport along with the Hampshire Roads Policing officers and Isle of Wight Ambulance service have all been called just after 3pm on Sunday afternoon to the Incident. The two vehicle collision happened on the Ashey Road, Section blocking the road for a short time. Police closed the road in both directions whilst those involved were checked by Paramedics from the ambulance service. Those involved are not thought to be seriously injured. The road has re-opened in the past few minutes having been initially closed in both directions.
