At approximately 7.40pm on Sunday, 21 July, officers on patrol in Holloway Road, N1, attempted to speak to the occupants of a car after being alerted to an altercation involving the vehicle’s occupants.
The officer who was struck by the car fortunately did not sustain serious injuries.
Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and contact the Old Bailey has been jailed for murder" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpil-monitor-id="38757">police.
