Man pulled from house blaze in sheerness

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire at a property on Nelson Avenue, Sheerness at 6:35am on Sunday morning. Upon arrival crews faced smoke coming through the windows of the property. Fire fighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building using a main jet and hose reel jet to tackle the fire. Crews located a man inside the property and brought him out to safety, the victim was left in the care of the South East Coast Ambulance Service. With no further people inside of the property firefighters surrounded the fire in order to extinguish it. The cause of the fire is not known.
