One Casualty Reported as Firefighters Battle Blaze in Heathfield

At 4.07pm today, emergency services were called to a significant fire at Frenches Farm Drive, Heathfield. East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) initially deployed six fire appliances to the scene to tackle the blaze.

Initial Response

Firefighters utilized a hose reel and a main jet to combat the fire, which required a coordinated effort due to its intensity. One casualty was reported and has since been handed over to the care of the ambulance service. The individual’s condition has not been disclosed at this time.
