Parents of Staffordshire fire death kids remain in custody

The parents of the children who perished in a blaze that ripped through their Staffordshire home remain in custody being grilled by police. Natalie Unitt, 24, and her partner Chris Moulton, 28, are being quizzed by Staffordshire Police detectives after being discharged from hospital They have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence. Police have confirmed that the pair remain i. Custody and are continuing to be questioned by police today (Saturday 9 February). They were arrested yesterday following a house fire in Sycamore Lane, Highfields, Stafford, on 5 February in which four children tragically lost their lives. It understood that officers are questioning the pair following the out come of a joint fire investigation carried out by Police and two fire service investigators. It relates to the gas supply within the property. Officers say are grateful for the community’s ongoing support and patience as the investigation continues.
