Police Appeal For Information Following Sexual Assault At Liverpool Hotel

Detectives in Liverpool City Centre have released CCTV images of two men in connection with a reported sexual assault at the Adelphi Hotel. The incident occurred on the morning of Tuesday, 3 October, where a man was assaulted by two individuals inside a hotel room. The assailants not only subjected the victim to a harrowing attack but also stole his mobile phone and cash.

The victim sustained facial injuries and was understandably left deeply distressed by the traumatic incident. In response, detectives have conducted thorough CCTV inquiries within the hotel premises, leading to the identification of two men whose information is crucial to the ongoing investigation.

Detective Inspector Robert Pritchard expressed concern over the deplorable assault, stating, “It is completely unacceptable to target and attack anyone in this terrifying manner, and we are working to find the men responsible.” He urged the individuals in the released CCTV footage to come forward, emphasizing their potential role in providing vital information.

“I am appealing to the men shown in this CCTV footage, or anyone who recognises them, to come forward as we believe they could hold information that could be vital to our continuing enquiries,” added Detective Inspector Pritchard. Additionally, he urged anyone who witnessed suspicious activity at the Adelphi Hotel in the early hours of Tuesday morning to contact the police promptly.
