A 17-year-old boy has been arrested following an incident in Bedworth on Friday, April 5. At 12:51 officers responded to a report of a stabbing in Church Way. The victim, a teenager, suffered serious injuries to his face and was promptly taken to the hospital. Fortunately, his injuries are not life-threatening.
The young suspect, hailing from Bedworth, was apprehended on suspicion of attempted murder earlier today, Sunday, April 7.
Detective Inspector Chris Spencer expressed gratitude to the public for their support during the ongoing investigation into this serious attack. He emphasised that this incident is being treated as an isolated case, and the authorities continue their inquiries. Witnesses or anyone with information are urged to contact the police.
