Tragedy struck in Dumfries and Galloway as a four-year-old girl was found “unresponsive” in Stranraer and later pronounced dead at the hospital. Police have launched an investigation into the unexplained death, which occurred on Sunday.
Authorities were alerted to the distressing situation at approximately 06:10 when they received a report of an unresponsive child at a residence on Eastwood Avenue in Stranraer. Emergency services rushed to the scene, and the young girl was quickly transported to the hospital. Despite efforts to save her, she tragically passed away shortly after her arrival.
