It might still feel early for some, but Waitrose shoppers can already secure their Christmas delivery slots as the supermarket chain opens availability for festive food orders. With high demand for Christmas groceries, UK supermarkets are starting to offer delivery slots much earlier in the year.
Waitrose Christmas Delivery Slots
Waitrose has officially opened its delivery and collection slots for customers looking to get ahead with their Christmas planning. Shoppers can book deliveries or pre-order their festive food for dates between 20 and 24 December. Each slot costs £4, with a minimum spend of £40 required to secure an order.
Other Supermarkets Opening Christmas Slots
Several other UK supermarkets have also confirmed their Christmas delivery slots:
- Morrisons: Customers with a Morrisons Delivery Pass can now secure their preferred delivery slot between 20-24 December. The minimum spend is £25, and the pass ensures early access and no delivery charges on orders.
- Ocado: Ocado Smart Pass members were given access to book Christmas slots as early as 23 September. For those booking deliveries between 20-24 December, there is a minimum spend of £90.
As the festive season approaches, many shoppers are eager to avoid the last-minute rush by booking their slots early. For those interested, it’s worth checking supermarket websites and apps to secure your Christmas food orders well in advance.
