UPDATED:Tower Bridge Road in Bermondsey in lockdown following stabbing

Police have cordoned off a large area of Tower Bridge Road after the stabbing outside the Tower Tandoori restaurant. Clothing can be seen strewn across the pavement after medics carried out life 1 treatment on the man A Met Police Spokesman said : Police were called to Tower Bridge Road, SE1, at 2.115am on Sunday, 14 July to reports of a stabbing. Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service (1). A 37-year-old man was found with stab injuries. He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital. We await an update on his condition. There have been no arrests. A crime scene has been put in place. Enquiries continue.
