Detectives have launched an urgent Police Appeal to Trace Asad Khan After Murder to locate Asad Khan, 24, in connection with a murder investigation following the death of a man in his 40s in Alum Rock Road this morning.

Emergency services were called shortly after 7am on Friday (5 September) to reports of a man seriously injured. Despite the efforts of officers and paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The police appeal to trace Asad Khan after murder is of highest priority.

Following enquiries, police are seeking Asad Khan, who is now believed to have a shaved head. Detectives have released two images of him as part of the urgent appeal.

Detective Inspector Nick Barnes, from West Midlands Police’s Homicide Team, said that the Police Appeal to Trace Asad Khan After Murder remains critical.

“We really need to hear from anyone who has any information on Khan’s whereabouts to get in touch. If you see him or know where he is, you must not approach him, but get in touch with us immediately.”

The ongoing police appeal to trace Asad Khan after murder is urging the public for assistance.
