On the evening of Thursday 15 February, the body of a man was found in the countryside near Cherry Lane, Deal. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of an 88-year-old man from Deal, who had been reported missing on Monday 12 February, have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
