Family Of Missing Mother Georgina Gharsallah Mark Another Birthday Searching For Answers

The disappearance of Georgina Gharsallah on March 7, 2018, has left her family in a state of devastation and uncertainty. Fearing that she may have been a victim of murder or sex trafficking, her family has taken on the role of lead investigators in the case, as they discovered a series of alleged failings by Sussex Police.

One of the key alleged failings was the failure to review crucial CCTV footage for over a year. This delay potentially hindered the investigation and the search for Georgina. Moreover, Sussex Police took over 18 months to place her on an Interpol watchlist, further delaying efforts to locate her. Shockingly, nine segments of CCTV footage, which could have been significant, were lost by the police without any explanation.

On the day she went missing, Georgina had mentioned that her phone was not working. In response, her mother provided her with an old device and Georgina went into the town centre to obtain a SIM card. The last known sighting of Georgina was captured on CCTV in a corner shop in Worthing on March 7, 2018.

Since her disappearance, Georgina has not accessed her phone, social media accounts, or withdrawn any money from her bank account. While two men were arrested on suspicion of murder, they were later released without further action.

Earlier this year the case was shown as part of Channel 5 program Missing with Dan Walker and is available on My5
