Kent Fire and Rescue Service has been called to a fire at a house in Landon Road, Herne Bay

Forty firefighters along with Six fire engines and a height vehicle have been sent to the property, where crews wearing breathing apparatus are using hose reel jets to extinguish the flames. 

People who live or work in the area are advised to close their windows and doors as a precaution, due to the amount of smoke being caused by the incident.  Please share this advice with any neighbours in the area who might not have access to social media or the internet.
