A 12-year-old boy reported missing from Bromley has been found safe after a call from a member of the public alerted police to his whereabouts.
Joel had been missing since he was last seen at around 5.50pm on March 11. He was believed to be wearing a black puffer coat and roller blades at the time of his disappearance, prompting concern from police and the local community.
An appeal was issued asking anyone with information to contact police, quoting CAD 7858/11MAR25 or 01/7255623/25.
Local reports on social media indicated that Joel was spotted by a friend in Bromley, leading to a call being made to police. It is understood that the sighting played a vital role in helping officers locate him.
One user wrote, “He was collected from Grove Park youth club last night,” while another said, “Lad was spotted by a friend in Bromley — call was made to the police, not sure if he’s home though.”
Police have yet to issue an official statement confirming the exact details of his recovery, but it is understood Joel has now been found and is safe.
