Motorcycle stolen after driver stopped for a drink in Herne Bay

Information is being sought after a motorbike was stolen while the rider stopped to have a drink in Herne Bay. Following a ride, the motorcyclist parked the bike in Central Parade near the clock tower in order to buy a drink at around 3pm on Wednesday 13 November 2019. On his return around 15 minutes later, the bike was missing. The bike is described as a black Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory. Officers would like to speak to two people who were seen in the area at the time of the theft on a grey and yellow Yamaha MT09 motorbike. People who saw anything suspicious, or if motorists were travelling down Central Parade and have dashcam footage from around the time of the theft, are asked to come forward.
