Police Launch Manhunt For Two Wanted Men Over Southampton Murder

Detectives are issuing an appeal to trace two men they want to speak to in connection with the murder of Michael Freshwater in Westridge Road, Southampton. Michael’s body was found at an address on Westridge Road at 4.15pm on Friday, April 29. Officers need to trace Tristan Pope (pictured left), aged 23 and Kevin Suika (pictured right), aged 21 both believed to be from London. Tristan is described as black, 5 feet 8 inches tall, is of medium build and has short black hair. Kevin is described as black, 5 feet 7 inches tall, is of proportionate build with a tattoo on his left arm that reads ‘Work like a slave, eat like a king.’ Detective Superintendent Becky Riggs said: “We urgently want to speak to these men in connection with the murder of Michael Freshwater. They could be in a number of places as they are known to have contacts in Southampton, London and the South East. “I would appeal to Tristan and Kevin to hand themselves in at a local police station or make contact with us as soon as possible to assist us with this investigation. “I want to appeal directly to the public and ask, if you see these men, or know where they are, please contact Hampshire Constabulary in confidence on 101 quoting Operation Windless.” Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Tristan Pope or Kevin Suika or has any information which could assist officers in locating them should call Hampshire Constabulary immediately on 101 quoting Operation Windless.
