A horrific wave of violence has swept across London, with five people stabbed and one person shot in a span of just four days. The attacks took place in Croydon, Hanwell, Romford, East Ham, and Shepherd’s Bush between February 8 and 12.
Croydon: Two Incidents in 48 Hours
- Man stabbed on Wellesley Road (February 8, 8:40 PM)
A man in his 20s was stabbed on Wellesley Road, Croydon, leading to a road closure. Emergency services found the victim and transported him to hospital, where his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.- Police appeal: Anyone with information is urged to contact 101, quoting CAD6505/8Feb.
- 17-year-old boy shot near Park Street (February 10, 7:37 PM)
In a separate attack, a teenager was shot near Park Street, Croydon. Paramedics treated him at the scene before taking him to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.
West London: Hanwell and Shepherd’s Bush Stabbings
- Fatal stabbing in Hanwell (February 10, 10:30 PM)
Police were called to Oaklands Road, Hanwell, where a man in his 30s was found with stab wounds. Despite emergency efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. A murder investigation has been launched, and no arrests have been made. - Shepherd’s Bush stabbing near Goldhawk Road Station (February 12, 1 PM)
A man was stabbed near Goldhawk Road Station, prompting a full road closure. The victim was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital. His condition remains unknown. A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
East London: Romford and East Ham Attacks
- Romford stabbing on Leyburn Road (February 11, 3:30 PM)
Emergency services responded to a stabbing on Leyburn Road, where the victim was treated before being taken to hospital. Their condition remains unknown. - East Ham driver stabbed after crash (February 12, 1:10 AM)
Police were initially called to a collision on Barking Road involving a car and a motorbike. Shortly after, a man in his 20s was found stabbed. Detectives believe the car driver was the stabbing victim.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
