Detectives investigating a reported firearm discharge in Penge have charged two men in connection with the incident, which took place on Sunday, March 2.
Tyrone Elliott, 31, of Rosewell Close, Bromley, has been charged with:
- Possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life
- Possession of a firearm whilst prohibited
He appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 28 March, where he was remanded in custody. He is next due to appear at Harrow Crown Court on Friday, 25 April.
Jordan Duncan, 30, of Chestnut Grove, Bromley, has been charged with:
- Possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life
He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 11 April, and was also remanded in custody. He will next appear at Harrow Crown Court on Thursday, 9 May.
Gunshot Report in Chestnut Grove
Police were called at approximately 5:38pm on March 2 to reports of a gunshot heard in Chestnut Grove, SE20. Officers, including armed response units, attended the scene and conducted a thorough search of the area.
While no injuries were reported, the incident prompted a swift and coordinated police response.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said enquiries remain ongoing, and the charges represent a significant step forward in the investigation.
