Police are urgently appealing for witnesses following a tragic collision near Uckfield that resulted in the death of a 57-year-old man.
Officers were called to the scene of the collision, which involved a blue Porsche Boxster and a grey BMW X1, on the A26 at Little Horsted at 11:18 am on Saturday, 15 June. Sadly, the driver of the Porsche, a man from South Chailey, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by Kent Police detectives and uniformed officers in March" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpil-monitor-id="25570">specialist officers.
The driver of the BMW sustained serious injuries and was promptly taken to the hospital. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
Investigating officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who might have captured any footage of the incident. They urge anyone with information to contact them.
