18 year old Girl arrested suspicion of terrorism offences in Coventry
Police have arrested a woman on suspicion of terrorism offences The 18-year-old woman was arrested today (Thursday 6 July) on suspicion of terrorism offences. The woman was arrested from an address in Coventry on suspicion of inviting support for a proscribed organisation and distributing terrorist material. She is being questioned by West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit at a police station in the West Midlands. The arrest was pre-planned and intelligence-led; there was no risk to the public. An address in Coventry is subject of an ongoing search.
