At around 5.30pm on Friday 13 October 2023, Kent Police officers were in Station Road, Maidstone when they came across a woman who had suffered multiple injuries.

Rebecca Griffin, 40, of Snowdrop Close, Chelmsford was arrested close to the scene and later charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent. On Monday 16 October, she appeared before Maidstone Magistrates’ Court and was remanded in custody. Her next hearing will be at Maidstone Crown Court on 13 November.
