Motorists are facing long delays on the A2 westbound in Kent this evening following a serious collision that has resulted in the full closure of the carriageway between the B255 Bean Interchange and Junction 2 of the M25.
National Highways has advised road users to expect long delays of at least 30 minutes and to consider alternative routes where possible.
Diversion Information
Drivers heading London-bound are advised to follow the solid square diversion symbol:
- Exit the A2 at the Bean Interchange (B255).
- Follow the B255 northbound to its junction with the A206.
- Rejoin the A2 at the Darenth Interchange (M25 Junction 2).
Motorists are urged to plan ahead, allow extra journey time, and consider delaying travel where possible.
