The KSS Air Ambulance has landed near by (since has laeft) and buses are being diverted.
Brighton and Hove Buses tweeted “Apologies due to an accident on A259 Seven Sister. Services BH12 BH12A BH12X buses will be diverted via A26/A27 Denton- Eastbourne
Higahwst has said “Please be aware that the diverted traffic from this closure of the #A259 is causing very long delays on the #A27 this evening.
There’s approximately a 40-minute delay on the eastbound carriageway towards #Polegate.”
