A3 Southbound in Surrey Closed Due to Single Vehicle Collision – UKNIP

The A3 southbound between the A3100 and A320 near Burpham, Guildford, has been closed following a single vehicle collision late Monday night. The incident occurred shortly before 23:00, and Surrey Police are currently on the scene.

The collision has resulted in a significant amount of debris scattered across the southbound carriageway. National Highways service providers are en route to assist the police with traffic management and clearing the debris.

Diversion Route

Road users are advised to follow the solid triangle diversion symbol on road signs. The recommended diversion route is as follows:

  1. From the A3 southbound, leave at Burpham Interchange and join the A3100 (London Road).
  2. Follow the A3100 until you reach the A25 roundabout.
  3. At the roundabout, use the 3rd exit and join the A25 (Parkway).
  4. Continue on the A25 for approximately 1 mile to the A3 Dennis Interchange.
  5. Use the 1st exit at the roundabout to rejoin the A3 southbound.
