Police Appeal for Witnesses After Serious Collision in Alkham

Police are appealing for dashcam footage and witnesses following a serious crash on Alkham Valley Road.

The incident occurred at around 9pm on Monday, 25 August 2025, near the section of the road that passes under the A20.

Vehicles Involved

The collision involved a blue Seat Ibiza and a silver BMW.

Emergency services, including paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service, attended the scene. Both drivers sustained life-changing injuries — one was taken to a local hospital while the other was transferred to a London hospital for further treatment.

Appeal for Information

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is calling for anyone with dashcam footage from the area at the time to come forward.

In particular, officers are keen to trace the driver of a white hatchback that was travelling along Alkham Valley Road towards Folkestone, who may have witnessed the collision.

Dashcam footage can be uploaded directly via Kent Police’s online portal.
