Appeal for Witnesses After Collision and Assault in Cuxton

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision and reported assault in Cuxton over the weekend.

The incident occurred at 9:05pm on Saturday, 11 January 2025, on Rochester Road, involving a white Ford Ranger and a white Audi A3. Emergency services, including South East Coast Ambulance Service, attended the scene, where a passenger in the Audi sustained a shoulder injury and required hospital treatment.

According to police reports, the driver of the Ford Ranger allegedly assaulted a man at the scene before punching an ambulance.

A 30-year-old suspect from Chatham was arrested and taken into custody. He has since been bailed pending further investigation.

Appeal for Information

Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or saw either vehicle before the collision to come forward.

Residents and motorists with dashcam or private CCTV footage from the area are also asked to check their recordings for any relevant material.
