Armed Police called on going incident in Southsea

Police are asking people to avoid the area around The Strand in Southsea whilst they deal with an ‘ongoing incident. A heavy police presence, with armed officers is reported in Clarendon Road, and several road closures in the area. Police confirm two males in their 20s are helping Detectives with their inquiries into the possession and distribution of controlled substances from a residential property in Clarendon Road. All roads now re-open.
