Emergency services have been called to Clapham Junction after reports of a body found on the track, causing a significant disruption to rail services.

The incident was reported earlier late on Tuesday evening prompting an immediate response from the British Transport Police (BTP), London Ambulance Service, and the London Fire Brigade. Power to the tracks has been turned off to ensure the safety of the responding personnel.

Passengers at Clapham Junction reported seeing a heavy police presence and several emergency vehicles. One commuter, Jane Smith, described the scene: “There were announcements about delays, and then we saw all the police and ambulances arriving. It’s quite shocking.”
