Dozens of scam-adjacent news articles — some styled to look like local UK media — have surfaced online, embedding referral links to 88Miner and BowMiner. These articles often impersonate tech news or local investment tips, falsely claiming celebrity endorsements or success stories.

Blockchain Analysis: Where UK Funds Are Going

Crypto forensic researchers have linked BowMiner’s deposits to wallets operating across Ethereum, Tron, Bitcoin, and Litecoin, including:

Funds are moved through Telegram-based laundering services, including wallets flagged by Chainalysis as linked to organised crime and terror financing.
