Car turns into Fire ball on the M20 in Kent
One lane of the busy M20 motorway had to be closed between junction eight and junction nine on Sunday. The closure was put in place after Emergency services responded to a car fire that had caught fire and turned into a fireball. The blaze is understood to have broken out on the coast-bound carriageway between the two junctions. Smoke was reportedly seen coming from the red ford car and traffic slowed due to a lane closure. Fire Crews put the blaze out using two hose reel jet and two sets of breathing apparatus. No one is understood to have been hurt as a result of the fire.
