Court Round-Up: Havering Residents Sentenced for Assaults, Drug Offences and Stalking

Several residents from across Havering have appeared before Barkingside Magistrates’ Court over the past two weeks, facing charges ranging from violent assaults to drug possession and stalking. The cases, heard between March 1 and March 13, have led to a number of jail terms and community orders.

‘Professional Criminal’ Jailed for Assaulting Two Women

Amin Mohammed, 27, of Sunnydene Close, Harold Wood, was sentenced to six months in prison after admitting to assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assault by beating against two different women on January 3.

Magistrates described Mohammed as a “professional criminal”, citing the severity of the offences and his criminal history in their sentencing remarks.

Romford Man Jailed After Drug Possession

Patrick Kwiatkowski, 28, of Thurloe Gardens, Romford, was jailed for two weeks after admitting to possessing heroin and crack cocaine in Ilford on New Year’s Eve.
