A major police incident has led to the full closure of East Hill (A226) in Dartford town centre, prompting traffic disruption, forensic activity, and bus diversions this evening.

The road was cordoned off in both directions between Great Queen Street and York Road from early afternoon, as Kent Police deployed multiple patrol units and officers to the scene.

At approximately 7:50pm, photographs showed forensics officers working near the junction with The Brent, indicating the investigation’s seriousness. The exact nature of the incident has not been confirmed by authorities.
