Fire crews were called just before 7pm on Thursday evening to West Hendon on the Broadway to a blaze that had ripped through a car workshop at the rear of a number of properties.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze has been launched by the fire service.
A road closure has been put in place to assist emergency services whilst they bring the blaze under control.
