Durham Constabulary responded to a distress call at approximately 5:20 pm on Saturday, April 5, 2025, reporting a disturbance at the Elm Street property. Upon arrival, officers discovered the man suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics made every effort to save his life, but despite their rapid response, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
