Isle of Wight fire crew have been called to tackle a blaze in the open near to Sandown airport on the Island. Crews were first called to the fire in the open between the Airport and a wooded area just before 11am on Friday. One fire crew from Shanklin fire station were sent to tackle the fire that has started in an area of peat.
