Four teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of robbery following an incident at Stratford Station yesterday.
British Transport Police were called to the station after reports of a robbery involving two mobile phones and a jacket. Officers arrived at the scene and, after making swift inquiries, arrested three suspects on the spot. A fourth teenager was arrested shortly afterward.
A police spokesperson confirmed: “We are taking this matter very seriously and will continue our efforts to fully investigate the robbery. We encourage anyone with information to contact us.”
The arrests have sparked concern in the community, with local residents expressing shock at the rise in incidents involving young people and thefts in the area.
