A serious crash involving two vehicles has brought the M2 coastbound to a standstill this evening, prompting a full closure between Junction 2 (Strood/Sundridge Hill) and Junction 3 (Blue Bell Hill Interchange).

Emergency Response
According to Kent Police, officers were called to the scene following a collision between two cars, which also led to a vehicle fire. A woman has been taken to hospital for treatment, although the extent of her injuries has not yet been confirmed.
