Traffic was brought to a halt on the M20 motorway near Ashford earlier today after reports emerged of a man standing on a bridge above the carriageway. The incident occurred at Junction 10, prompting a full closure of the motorway in both directions.

Emergency services were called after witnesses reported seeing a man—reportedly wearing a hospital gown—on a bridge overlooking the motorway. Police responded swiftly, closing the M20 in both directions to ensure public safety.
